Wild Primrose |
Is it me or does this little wild primrose flower not look like it should. Leaf shape definitely different and not the lovely creamy yellow colour. I planted these last year and this is the first one to flower. Its nice but not what I expected, ever so slightly disappointed
On the other hand this mini daffodil is a stunner, simple but so cute. Bought for a minuscule 50p at B&Q
HI Deb.... Aww, but things are never as they seem to be or look ;) Such is life lol !!!
ReplyDeleteIt is still beautiful just the same. Your little daffodil is a real stunner :) Hope all is well with you!

Looks like some sort of hybrid Debs.
ReplyDeleteNice flower though.
Employing my vast powers of googlefoo I concluded that I haven't got a clue. :)
ReplyDeleteYou've been fiddled that's not a native primrose. If you can get some fresh seed from a primrose and sow it straight award and you can grow lots easily.
ReplyDeleteCertainly have Sue:-(
ReplyDeleteHi Gracie nice hearing from you
ReplyDeleteHey Keith hope you keeping well
ReplyDeleteno it's not a native primrose it's a primula. Lovely daffodil though.
ReplyDeleteOh what a shame I much prefer the more natural looking primroses myself - you can't win 'em all. The daffodil is lovely though.
ReplyDeleteomggggggggggggggggg i love it
