Sometimes when me and Harry go to the woods just off Bunkers Hill we bump into one eared willy, (not his real name), he doesn't give any ground so needless to say we carefully retrace our steps and find another path. Bet he's not so rufty tufty really but you can't be too careful;-).

Red White And Blue

This daisy pic might get the thumbs down from Chris Packham due to the unsightly skewed petal but I think it's ok as it is. Although, confession time here.... I did poke the petal down and take another but on reflection preferred imperfection.

ID Parade

This unusual little chicken was wandering about on his own in the early hours. He could be a French Houdan?

Without seeing more of the upper body feathers I cant tell whether this is a song thrush or mistle thrush.
