About five months ago whilst walking our dog on the beach at Southport, Merseyside we spotted a lonely coke bottle sat in the sand which was stuffed with what looked like paper. On closer examination it turned out to be a true message in a bottle. The note had been written by a young Irish couple and had been tossed over the side of the Rosslare to Fishguard ferry.
